Hi,
I had a working windows 7 box with 3x ATI FireMV 2250 dual screen video cards - giving me 6 nice screens.
upgraded to Win 10 - all just junk.
Home » ATI FireMV 2250 Use the links on this page to download the latest version of ATI FireMV 2250 drivers. All drivers available for download have been scanned by antivirus program. The only thing firemv 2250 functions on the box is the microsoft basic driver, but that doesn’t give me multi-screen. ATI FireMV PCI Express x16 Workstation Display. Re-installing and potentially uninstalling again is a significant investment in time and loss of firemv 2250 to the machine for the duration.
Anyone got multiple instances of these cards working?? I have performed all the actions I could find online - various methods of applying the updates etc..
If anyone has these working, could they publish their driver versions and the installation regime they used.
background story.....
My Windows 7 drivers are labelled (in Device Manager as 'ATI FireMV 2250 (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM)'
looked great I thought MICROSOFT DRIVERS!!!! - AND the windows 10 update checks said 'yes'.!! BOUND TO WORK !!!
I upgraded to windows 10 - and the video drivers became a a complete nightmare.
I have tried windows update. and downloaded the latest stuff.
I managed to grab updates that were allegedly for the correct cards... and the best situation I reached was 3 working screens. - across 4 monitors. AND... the video drivers were crashing and being restarted every 20 seconds or so.
So... I tried all the fixes for crashing video drivers (turn off fast start etc. - it wasn't on anyhow).
I even tracked down the safe mode for windows 10 so i could try to load stuff better.
No joy.
I regressed to windows 7 - which is where I am now.

Just got this card for old computer and loaded the vista drivers and it works in Windows 10. Here is the problem,I can restart the machine 20 times in a roll and all is well on booting up to desktop. If I shutdown the computer and reboot get a black screen with only mouse icon ? Now the weird part,if shutdown and change the vga to other dms-59 vga connector all is well, like the card switches between connector on shutdown. Using only one monitor for this card,is there a way to setup primary connector? Has anyone used this type of card with one monitor? I'm lost, don't want to switch connector every time I shut down. Any suggestions
